Home Page

The home page is where you'll login to WebLink. The home page serves as a dashboard, providing quick insights into pending activities at the public warehouse.

At the top of the screen is a navigation bar with the available WebLink pages. Selecting a tab will navigate to that page. Some tabs contain multiple pages that can be revealed by hovering your mouse cursor over the tab.

Inventory

Inventory displays inventory levels for each of the items at a public warehouse. There are various fields available that can be shown, hidden or repositioned to provide greater flexibility for tracking inventory.

The Inventory has three inventory views: Item, Lot and Piece.

  • Item shows inventory summarized by item and warehouse. Lots, statuses, and bin locations are combined in this view.

  • Lot shows inventory summarized by item, lot, and warehouse. Statuses and bin locations are combined in this view.

  • Piece is the most detailed breakdown of inventory. You are able to see bin locations, lots, statuses, unique pallet or case IDs, and all other details tracked at the piece level.

Activity

Hovering over the Activity tab will reveal additional Activity pages for Receipts, Shipments, and Item Activity and History.

  • Receipts shows views for Pending Receipts and Posted Receipts.

  • Shipments shows views for Pending Shipments and Posted Shipments.

  • Item Activity and History shows views for Line History, Detail History, and Pending Lines.

  • Selecting Activity shows a view for All Transactions, which contains pending and posted receipts, shipments, and inventory adjustments.

Item Activity and History

You can view a truncated list of all item history by selecting Item Activity and History from the Activity tab in the navigation bar. There are various fields available that can be shown, hidden or repositioned to provide greater flexibility for viewing item history and activity.

History By Item contains the following history and activity views: Line History, Detail History, and Pending Lines.

  • Line History shows summarized item history from posted receipts, shipments, and adjustments. Details such as lots, statuses, and unique pallet and case IDs will not be displayed even if they are tracked.

  • Detail History shows unabridged item history from posted receipts, shipments, and adjustments. Details such as lots, statuses, and unique pallet and case IDs will be displayed if tracked.

  • Pending Lines shows summarized item history from pending receipts, shipments, and adjustments. Activity displayed here typically represents in-progress work at the public warehouse. Details such as lots, statuses, and unique pallet and case IDs will not be displayed even if they are tracked.

Order Entry

WebLink offers the advanced Order Entry feature that allows you to submit your orders to the public warehouse's WMS directly, cutting out the need for email and phone communications. Order Entry may not be available to you at this time if the public warehouse has not opted to utilize the feature.

The Order Entry page shows a list of all pending orders that have not yet been accepted by the warehouse.

The headers show the Interface Batch, Interface Doc No, etc. The button lets you Edit order information and the button will Delete an order.

The button creates a new order entry.

You can select the address from a drop-down list or type it in manually. The reference information is located on the right side of the header in the 3PLink client. Items are selected from a drop down list and qty ordered must be entered manually.

The three buttons at the bottom all have different functions:

Submit order sends the order to the warehouse to approve and begin picking/shipping and then escapes to the order list screen.

Save as draft saves progress but does not alert the warehouse of this new order, and will not be picked or shipped and escapes to order list screen

Save and refresh also saves as a draft, but does not escape to the list screen, allowing you to make more changes

Exporting Data (Excel & PDF)

Near the bottom of the screen you will find icons for exporting data to Excel or PDF.

Selecting the Export to Excel button will send the currently displayed data to an Excel spreadsheet on your local workstation that you can filter and modify as needed for reporting and data analysis.

If you need to produce a print-ready document of the displayed data you can select the Export to PDF button which will export the data to a PDF.
